Donya brings a unique insight with 30 years experience and expertise to her international platform for improving health care to rural or geographically remote regions.
She is CEO of Air Ops International of Texas. Her mission is to enhance flight and maintenance operations through efficient FBO facilities development and management strategies, with a focus on new ventures, operational issues and creative solutions under regulatory compliance. Serving in roles as Researcher, Medical Specialist, Director, Innovator and Pioneer in both Civilian and Military sectors. She has accumulated extensive academic and practical knowledge during her career at; Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas; Armstrong Laboratory Human Systems Division, Brooks Air Force Base [School of Aerospace Medicine].
Numerous Hospitals and Rehabilitation Centers across the country. An International Lecturer, Trainer and Educator in U. S., Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Grenada, UK and Indian Ocean Region.
Donya has perfected and utilized the military model for efficiency and logistical strategy. Her contribution and developments also reach into the sphere of Engineering and Design. She has been trained in Systems Integration, Conceptual Design, Mechanical Engineering and the Environmental Sciences where she developed multiple building concepts for the Aviation Industry building Runways, Hangar construction and has a passion for Experimental Aircraft.
Educated in the Biosciences at Texas Tech University, Fulfilled coursework in Neurophysiology, Aerospace Physiology, Environmental Sciences and Engineering apprenticeships. A Specialist in High Altitude Protection she holds Hyperbaric and Hypobaric training certifications earned from the US Air Force, and works as a Senior Consultant in Aerospace Research and Development.
